Favorite thing about FIT4MOM: My favorite thing is the way everyone encourages each other to be the best they can be for where they are in life and motherhood. It’s encouragement without judgment or pressure.

When did you join FIT4MOM? I joined in the summer of 2016

What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home? I teach English Language Acquisition to speakers of other languages. I taught in Seattle area colleges for three years before taking a motherhood break while my babies are little.

What is your favorite food? Thai Red Curry with chicken! 2 stars :-) They may or may not know me by my voice at Bangkok Thai.

What is your favorite beverage? Diet Coke

What is your favorite book? That’s a tough one. Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Anne of Green Gables. Give me strong female characters and I’ll probably like it.

You are given four free hours of babysitting, what would you do? Read or go hiking/cycling with my husband.

What is your dream kid free vacation? New York!

What is your dream family vacation? Road Trip continental USA

How has becoming a mother changed you? Yes and no. I would say it brought out traits that were already there and made them stronger.

Fondest childhood memory? Probably family camping trips. Everyone hanging out all day, doing life slow together. Waking up early. Playing the river. Riding bikes all over the campground. Swinging on the play set. Fighting over card games. Playing flashlight games that mom made up. Roasting marshmallows and smelling like smoke. Watching a movie at night in the camper, with the TV reflecting in the mirror so everyone could see it.

Your favorite "go to" family friendly recipe? When my husband cooks ;)
